The Celebration Team at ChangePoint exists to develop worshippers who will lead our church in the area of worship and celebration.
Sunday's at ChangePoint are full of authentic worship, modern music, and practical biblical teaching that will leave you encouraged and challenged to discover life in Christ! It takes musicians, vocalists, production team members, and many other people to make Sunday happen.
Hi, I'm Greg GoForth. As the Worship Pastor here, I lead our Sunday Celebration Team. We are a group of people who not only serve together on Sundays, but do life together and care for each other as brothers and sisters in Christ.
On Sunday morning (or evening), we're not just playing music or pressing buttons - we're working together as a team to try and bring people into the throne room of God. The scriptures speak of songs being sung and praise being given to Jesus Christ the King. Giving people a small picture of that reality.
If that's a vision you're excited about, we want to talk to you.
Joining the Celebration Team
We have many opportunities to serve on the Celebration Team. Some of them require previous experience, while many don't. So don't let that get in the way of where God might be leading you.
If you're interested in joining the Celebration Team, click the link, and choose "Celebration Team" on the brief form that follows. We'll be in contact with you this week!
I'm interested in joining the Celebration Team.
We're always looking for gifted vocalists to join our team. Vocalists sing on Sunday morning across ChangePoint campuses and occasionally at other opportunities and special events. We do require an audition for this position, but no previous experience on a worship team is required.
We're always looking for musicians to join our band. Musicians play in the band on Sunday morning across ChangePoint campuses and occasionally at other opportunities and special events. We do require an audition for this position, and we don't provide training on how to play an instrument, but no previous experience on a worship team is required.
We're always looking for skillful presenters. Presenters read scripture aloud, make announcements on stage and on video, and lead corporate prayer. We do require an audition for this position, but no previous professional experience is required.
It's important for all of us on stage to remember, we are not just singers, musicians or presenters, we're worship leaders. This is not an opportunity to perform or bring glory to ourselves - but to worship God and bring glory to Him.
Camera Operators run the cameras that are seen on the screens during the worship service. This requires a steady hand, and situational alertness. We provide full training on how to operate the camera, and no previous experience is required for this position.
The Switcher Operator controls all content seen on the screens during the worship service. This is a high-intensity position making fast-paced decisions and hitting the right button at the right time to make the magic happen. Online gaming experience might be the best preparation for this position. We provide full training on how to operate the switcher, and no previous experience is required.
The Lighting Operator designs and operates the lighting we use during the worship service. An eye for aesthetics is helpful in this position. We provide full training on how to operate the lighting board, and no previous experience is required.
The Graphics Operator manages the slides and computer graphics we use during the worship service in a program called ProPresenter (similar to PowerPoint). This position requires a high level of attention to detail, and basic computer skills. We provide full training on how to operate ProPresenter, and no previous experience is required.
