The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.

Tikahtnu Campus
New Campus Pastor
Eric Knight
Finding a better location for ChangePoint Tikahtnu was a priority in 2023. But we didn’t know we would also be looking for a new campus pastor! Eric Knight stepped in, and the Tikahtnu family continued serving their community through ministries like The Bear’s Den at Bartlett and on JBER through Operation Warmheart.
New Location

Kattivik Bible Camp

God has used Kattivik Bible Camp to impact hundreds of Iñupiat youth over the years. This year we faced the big challenge of finding a new location for camp. And the question, “Will students want to come?”
God provided the location. He provided the volunteers needed to set-up the facilities and staff the camps. Best of all, He brought more campers than expected! Both camps were at max capacity!

Wien Apartments
We acquired Kotzebue’s historic Wien Hotel with a vision to renovate it into modern apartments that will fill an essential housing need in the community and help finance future ministry in the region. Samaritan’s Purse partnered with us this summer to complete Phase 1 - exterior renovations.
Marshall
In our second year of ministry in the lower Yukon River village of Marshall God has given John and Margaret Lewis even more opportunities to bring the gospel to the community — especially the youth. The Teen Center is open five nights a week, giving John and Margaret the remarkable opportunity to reach nearly every young person in Marshall!
John and Margaret were recently publicly recognized by village leadership for outstanding service to the community.

Raspberry Campus
Vision 2023
To begin our planning for this ministry year we asked our Raspberry Campus family to share their input on our current and potential ministries. 180 surveys were submitted, and members spent on average 50 minutes filling out each one.
Every pastor and every elder read every survey response as we prayerfully developed our plan looking forward.

Eastside Campus
New Name
ChangePoint’s East Anchorage campus is now called “ChangePoint Eastside.” This change reflects both the church’s move from the Tikahtnu Commons area, and its passion to reach all of East Anchorage.
New Neighborhood
ChangePoint Eastside’s new location creates opportunities for ministry within a specific neighborhood. A strategy we think God may use in the future.
New Partnership possibilities
Scenic Park Bible Church has decades of ministry history and relationships in the neighborhood. We are exploring how God would have us pursue this new ministry partnership.
