DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

1. What do the parables of the Mustard seed and the Leaven have in common? What point do you think Jesus is trying to make regarding the "Kingdom of Heaven?"

2. In a practical way, have you seen this sort of growth in God's Kingdom? When and where have you seen it and what characteristics did you notice? What were the results of such growth?

3. What the implications of these two parables when it comes to church planting in Alaska and in the Circumpolar North? How does Jesus expect his church to grow and to multiply? Pray with your spiritual partners that we will see that sort of growth in Anchorage, in Fairbanks, in Juneau, in remote Alaska, and in the world beyond.
